Ad Manager kicks it up a notch with the new retail SmartScreen Network

Posted by admin in News

Toronto, ON, November 16, 2015 — Dot2Dot Communications, the pioneer in media management software Ad Manager, is excited to announce an innovative project with Scentre Group (Sydney, Australia) and Scala Certified Partner TechMedia (Sydney, Australia) that has Ad Manager and Scala managing its new digital network in 37 shopping centres across Australia.

Dubbed the SmartScreen Network with over 1,200 interconnected digital screens, integrated with existing media platforms, Scentre Group has launched something they feel passionate about; improving the retail experience. Sales are managed in-house through its specialist BrandSpace division, whose focus is to deliver unique DOOH advertising opportunities – ones that play perfectly into the core strengths of Ad Manager and Scala.

Dot2Dot Communications was chosen to play a key role in this project using the comprehensive functionality of Ad Manager and its ability to manage all content centrally through one database. The network will be able to respond faster to users’ needs, and the solid and stable integration with Scala allows the network to take advantage of a broad range of digital capabilities including beacons, mobile, NFC and QR codes.

In an interview with AdNews, Scentre Group Brandspace GM Bill Burton explains that the launch is part of the group’s goal to revolutionize the retail marketing market.

Together there’s a lot of excitement as our companies collaborate on best practices for the SmartScreen Network and how to best communicate and engage with over 500 million shoppers and 12,500 retailers in Westfield’s vibrant shopping centres.
