Dot2Dot and Peoplecount integrate platforms to provide real time audience measurement
Toronto, ON May 11, 2017 – Dot2Dot Communications, a full service visual communications company, has joined forces with Peoplecount to showcase real time audience measurement in the exhibition hall at the OAAA/Geopath National Convention in New Orleans next week. The two platforms, Ad Manager and Placescount, will be tracking and reporting the total attendance in the expo, number of repeat visits, and average time spent per visit.
Stop by the Dot2Dot booth #507 to see the technology in action as it plays a role in several live media campaigns. The integration will also measure the flow of people at the bars during the opening night cocktail reception in the Expo. Be sure to check it out if you want to know where to find the most popular spot or the quickest bar line-up!
Besides location-specific foot traffic, the Placescount technology, which passively and anonymously detects Wi-Fi-enabled Smartphones, yields reliable, real-time metrics on dwell time, return trips and footpath analytics. By filtering and geofencing the data, it is possible to pinpoint people within various areas of interest in the venue. Placescount analytics clean and project the data, predicting very accurate audience estimates.
Kelly McGillivray, Peoplecount’s President and Chief Methodologist, notes, “We are excited to be partnering with long-time allies Dot2Dot Communications to showcase real-time audience metrics in the OAAA/Geopath expo, adding, “Placescount is a scaleable, affordable and secure solution for location-based analytics.”
“Our collaboration with Peoplecount is a perfect example of the kinds of intelligent integration we are currently doing, “ says John Devonshire, Manager of Client Services at Dot2Dot. “It seems that many in the industry are focused on initiatives that add downward pressure on outdoor rates, while we are interested in data and technologies that allow our clients to provide their advertisers with much better performing campaigns and ultimately much higher value”.
Together these two platforms provide a powerful solution that strengthens and supports OOH metrics with proven audience measurement capabilities.
