Dot2Dot’s Ad Manager launches 2nd generation digital platform and new portals
Toronto, ON, February 6, 2014 — Dot2Dot Communications, pioneer of media management software Ad Manager, and Canadian Master Distributor for Scala digital signage software is taking it to the next level with new Ad Manager functionality designed to streamline efficiencies and enhance reporting capabilities. The system manages all types of media (static and digital) and networks (owned, earned, paid) using one database.
Fully integrated with Scala Content Manager, Ad Manager’s 2nd Generation digital platform was designed and developed to manage multiple Content Manager networks, enhance scheduling capabilities, handle day-parting needs, and report metrics for play-back audit purposes.
Using the systems’ planning wheel approach users are able to define, schedule and manage different types of content (paid, owned, earned) and loop lengths with a high degree of flexibility and automation. For those loops not sold or filled to capacity, Ad Manager automatically recognizes and inserts pre-defined filler content. The system also reacts in real-time publishing new content as scheduled, thereby offsetting large amounts of data having to be transferred at once.
With this 2nd Gen platform users are able to deliver customized campaigns that pinpoint certain days/times/ conditions during the week—ideal for scheduling the right ad at the right time that target audiences to act on a message. Behind the scenes Ad Manager Digital is constantly automating and organizing playlists so users can focus on creating campaigns, scheduling locations, and ultimately growing market share.
The company is also excited to launch two new Ad Manager Portals that put the control for building and measuring campaigns into the clients’ hands.
The Portals provide access to sharing proposal and contract information in a secure and real-time environment. The interface includes detailed information about each location, posting dates, photos, and colour-coded status maps. They use Google Maps to enhance the experience with zoom in/out and street view features, and are backed by built-in style sheets for customized corporate looks. Ad Manager Portals answer the need for enhanced client communication vis-à-vis an elegant, easy-to-use process for accessing and sharing information.
