HP Store / Retail

Located in the thriving retail district of downtown Vancouver, the first ever Canadian HP Store is a one-stop shopping experience for both consumers and small business owners. HP was looking for a digital signage solution that would not only enhance their new store’s appearance, but also garner efficiencies throughout the workspace. They wanted digital signs to announce product information and promotions while providing a highly personalized shopping experience.

Dot2Dot partner, 10Net (Vancouver), worked closely with HP Canada and partner, AdCetera, to incorporate a digital component that would complement and enhance the interactive environment. Customers are now greeted by 3, side-by-side 47” LCD screens that communicate product information, upcoming store events, and personalized welcome messages as they pick up their new HP merchandise. Using Scala Designer, AdCetera developed the dynamic templates for HP store staff to easily update content and push fresh, dynamic messages out on a daily basis.

When customers enter store, their senses are delighted with HP experience pods, LCD screens, and innovative displays. The network is easy-to-use, and helps store employees focus on key branding opportunities and highlighting the importance of delivering a fun and interactive experience for all customers. “The Scala backend enables customized changes simply and quickly. Screens can either share or feature unique content,” said Trevor Nuttall, Founder of 10Net. “Now, HP Store employees can focus on their business without worry about additional in-house monitoring and installation support resources.”
