CHALLENGE
Launched three years ago, MNN is wholly owned by Medical News Corporation serving Appletree Medical Centres, several large pharmacy chains, and other medical clinics. MNN was looking to adopt current trends in technology to support businesses and allow them to advertise their message effectively in medical clinic waiting rooms and pharmacies across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Ottawa.

SOLUTION
MNN partnered with Dot2Dot Communications to set-up, manage, and host a digital communications network. Using Ad Manager in conjunction with Scala Content Manager, the Dot2Dot client services team manages player inventory, administers sales contracts, schedules campaigns and content to specific locations, and provides detailed performance reports—including ‘proof-of-play’ for advertisers. The network currently consists of 91 locations with expectations for continued growth in Canada.

BENEFITS
Having Dot2Dot manage the back end has allowed MNN to focus on their business, and value-add content for patients. MNN is also delivering on tangible benefits for the venue—they provide all hardware, cabling, and installation at no charge, and share a portion of the advertising revenue. A win, win for everyone.
